HOW THIS WORKS
WHAT DO YOU DO?
The trade term is portable custom sawmilling. We bring the sawmill to the logs and cut them into lumber. Custom because we cut the logs to try and make the most for the clients money. Big sawmills buy logs and cut what what earns the most profit.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Several things make up the total cost of a job.
What kind and how many logs
Are the logs clean
All limbs cut flush with the log
how much moving to get the logs on the sawmill
what kind of lumber will we make
how much can the client help provide

HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL?
We travel mostly in the Pee Dee region of NC and SC. Within 20 miles of Florence, SC we do not include travel in our costs. Outside that radius, we do include charges. It all depends on how far and for how long. The farthest so far is Furman University to the west, Charlotte to the north and Charleston to the south
